The “I Have a Dream” Foundation motivates and empowers children from low income areas to reach their educational and career goals by providing a long-term program of mentoring, tutoring and enrichment and tuition assistance for higher education.
Dreamers are over 3x more likely to earn a bachelor’s degree than their low-income peers.
Over 90% of Dreamers graduate high school, compared to 74% of low-income students nationally.
College graduates earn, on average, an additional $1 Million in lifetime earnings.

A dream, realized.
Our commitment is to ensure that our Dreamers have the opportunity to pursue higher education, capitalize on their talents and aspirations so they may have fulfilling careers and become proud and productive citizens.
Our approach is unique in that we sponsor entire grade levels of 50-100 students at a Miami Dade Public School in a distressed neighborhood, and work with these “Dreamers” from early elementary school all the way through high school. Upon high school graduation, each Dreamer receives a guaranteed tuition of up to $3,000 per year for four years at a Florida State University or accredited vocational school.
